These days almost everybody has a cell phone. The technology has been around for nearly 30 years, and after numerous studies there's growing evidence that people who use their cell phones frequently and over a long period of time could increase their risk of developing a brain tumor. Dr. Santosh Kesari, Director of Neuro-Oncology at the Moores Cancer Center at UC San Diego, joined us with the latest findings, and to tell us about a clinic here in San Diego that's helping to treat brain tumors.

La tecnología ha estado alrededor por casi 30 años, y después de numerosos estudios hay cada vez más pruebas de que las personas que utilizan sus teléfonos celulares con frecuencia y durante un largo período de tiempo pueden aumentar su riesgo de desarrollar un tumor cerebral. Dr. Santosh Kesari, Director de Neuro-Oncología en el Centro de cáncer de Moores en la Universidad de California San Diego, se unió a nosotros con los últimos descubrimientos, y para hablarnos de una clínica aquí en San Diego que está ayudando a tratar los tumores cerebrales.
